Job Description
Our client, an NHS Trust , is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to support and deputise for the Financial Controller. The main duties of this role will include preparing year end accounts, dealing with working papers and ensuring adherence to the year end time table. There will also be elements of capital accounting, cash flow forecasting and making provisions for future liabilities. You will also be expected to get involved in managing the finance team.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with experience within the NHS. The client will look at non NHS candidates but you will be able to show real mastery over the year end accounting process in your previous roles. You will also be able and professional and have excellent Excel skills.
