Job Description
This rapidly growing Top 20 firm is looking for someone who is currently acting as an Audit Manager and wants to take their first step into becoming a highly important Technical Manager! The firm is also willing to let the right person carry out a role split 50% Audit Manager and 50% Technical Manager duties - just to ease you into your new position! However, you can carry out a full Technical Manager role should you desire, especially if you have relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and understanding of financial reporting and auditing standards. Knowledge of a specialist area like Solicitors Accounts Rule's, Charities or Pensions could be advantageous. You must be ACA / ACCA qualified and currently be working as an Audit Manager in a UK practice firm in a role at least 50% audit based. You must now be looking to utilise the experience you have learned from your Audit Manager role, and now want to help other members of staff from Audit Juniors to Partner, understand and make sense of current and new rules and regulations.
