Job Description
An Accounts & Audit Senior is required at this 6 Partner firm in North London. Your role will be roughly 80% accounts and tax based, with the remaining 20% being spent leading audit assignments, as well as carrying out ad hoc projects when they arise. Recent assignments have included due diligence reports, special forensics investigations and internal control advisory work. The clients you will work on will include owner managed businesses, listed companies and wealthy individuals from a wide range of sectors including media, entertainment, property and technology.
To be considered for this role, you must be either ACA or ACCA qualified or about to become qualified, and currently be working in a UK practice firm. You must have experience of accounts and audit work, and be prepared to start utilising your skills and knowledge to help more junior members of staff, prove your managerial credentials and be groomed for a managerial role in the short term.
This high quality firm has a reputation for fast track promotions, and all of the Partners in the firm started as an Accounts & Audit Senior. The firm also has a relaxed and informal culture, meaning you will not work excessive hours and can actually enjoy the work you are doing, whilst still maintaining a healthy work life balance. Overall this represents an excellent opportunity for someone to carry out a mixed role, while being groomed for Manager grade in the short term, with genuine Partnership opportunities a few years after you have reached Manager grade!
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
