Job Description

My client is a corporate finance and investment management arm that sprouts off an assembly of companies. Together this team and its subsidiaries form a privately held international business spanning across twenty countries. The business as a whole concentrates its efforts in the property, retail and financial service markets. They are looking to take on an Analyst to join their small team who will be good with financial modelling and valuation analyses. To be successful you will have strong spreadsheet skills and will be able to identify key value drivers. You will also be expected to work with existing spreadsheet models and to devise and implement new models as required. Prior knowledge of Bloomberg is important. As an Analyst you will participate in the execution of transactions, you will analyse and report on strategic and financial issues. Not to mention you will develop and maintain appropriate sector and industry knowledge as well as being able to prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external parties. To be successful you will have either an ACA or an MBA qualification, or the equivalent and a strong academic history. You will be highly numerate and have a strong financial foundation gained from an investment banking background. It is imperative that you have had exposure to mergers and acquisition and you must have worked on live deals. Or maybe you have been working in a private equity firm. Finally you must be a self-confident, outgoing individual and able to work in small team.
