Our client, a FTSE 100 telecoms group with its head offices in west London, currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join its team as Senior Analyst/Auditor. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, performing and reporting on audit projects. You will also be heavily involved in the monitoring of business risks, assessing controls and mitigation action taken by management. This is not a traditional "tick and bash" financial audit function with examples of typical projects being: a risk assessment of a new acquisition, a key controls assessment of join ventures and fraud investigations. They require a motivated qualified accountant with strong analytical skills plus internal and/or external audit experience. An understanding of the telecoms industry would be a bonus, as would previous exposure to IT audit.
