Job Description

One of the leading Asset Managers in the City is currently looking for an internal auditor with a proven track record across Investment Management to take on a senior contract position as soon as possible. You would gain exposure to all areas across the business covering Institutional Sales, Hedge Funds, UK Wholesale, Finance & Treasury, Risk Management & Compliance and Corporate Tax. You will be expected to plan and manage audit assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of the controls in operation in the business and information systems and, where appropriate, to make recommendations for their improvement. This would include providing an opinion on the quality of the risk management processes and providing advice on the implementation of agreed actions. You would contribute to an increased awareness in the business of the management of risk and the importance of sound business controls and develop, train and coach other members of the Internal Audit team in the skills required to perform successful audit assignments. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to communicate across all business units and with a sound technical knowledge of all aspects of a successful asset management business. In a great central City location and paying a highly competitive market rate this is a contract opportunity that we rarely see in the market.
