Job Description
Our client is seeking two Research Consultants, who will report to the Head of Research and assist in the co-ordination and running of 10 annual research projects which investigate e-commerce propositions available to Financial Advisers. Ideally we are looking for one person with a mortgage background and the second with life/pensions/investments experience.
Our client is a specialist management consultancy practice focusing on the understanding of e-commerce needs by IFAs and other financial advisers in order to help facilitate greater market efficiency. They work with major players in the financial services sector, assisting them in identifying and achieving market leading e-commerce solutions.
The company believes in recruiting experienced financial services professionals and providing them with the necessary guidance to operate. Candidates will ideally have worked within an adviser business with active involvement in the use of technology for at least two years. The role may suit a Senior Administrator / Paraplanner, alternatively, strong compliance experience might be beneficial.
You should be FPC Qualified with additional CeMAP or AFPC progress. Good communication skills are essential and you also need to be comfortable with possibly co-hosting meetings/telephone conferences. Good Excel & PowerPoint skills are also important factors. Duties will involve working with leading adviser firms and product providers analysing technology solutions and identifying how these can best meet the needs of the adviser community. A rare opportunity.
