Job Description
A great opportunity to do something different, within a company that hold quite a unique position in the financial services market.
Our client, a specialist management consultancy, is seeking a compliance professional, who will report to the Head of Research and initially assist in the co-ordination and running of several annual research projects which investigate e-commerce propositions available to Financial Advisers. They work with major players in the financial services sector, assisting them in identifying and achieving market leading e-commerce solutions.
The focus of the role will change in the New Year to concentrate more on the development and launch of a compliance forum. These forums will run four times a year and will involve face to face meetings with representatives from large distributor firms and nationals and consist of around 20-25 people. The aim of the meetings is to identify improvements to existing business processes and practices.
You need to be a confident, self starter, able to manage the day to day operation of the forum and will ideally have worked with a regulator or similar financial services body. This will include managing budgets and assisting in business development activities, identifying new ideas and developing the presentation material.
The company believes in recruiting experienced financial services professionals and providing them with the necessary guidance to operate. Good communication skills are essential. A rare opportunity.
