Job Description
Our client are a leding life organisation based in the centre of Birmingham. They currently require an actuarial administrator to process routine actuarial calculations for investments, pensions, income protection, life and group locum policies.
The role will involve the following duties
•Sorting work received for Actuarial Administration
•Categorise work into tasks
•Input data onto eg Work Manager®
•Complete calculations and prepare documentation for standard PHI alterations, surrender values and illustrations
•Complete calculations and prepare documentation for life surrender values, life projected maturity values and illustrations
•Complete calculations and prepare documentation for pension alterations, vesting figures and illustrations
•Prepare, process and maintain records for reassurances out
•Obtain and distribute files required for the department and return when completed
•Perform basic support functions
•Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of business controls, procedures and systems used in own team
•Meet service standards in terms of quality and timeliness
•Handle enquiries received from clients, sales consultants and other departments
•Extract the correct information about clients existing business
•Identify, develop and implement process improvements
