Job Description
A large Asset Manager is looking for a part-qualified accountant to join its Treasury team in a Product Accounting and Financial Control capacity.
You will be responsible for accounting for money market instruments - loans, deposits, debt securities issued and purchased, swaps and other hedging derivatives, as well as foreign exchange trade accounting and interest rate trade accounting. You will also be fully involved in price testing, liquidity monitoring and reporting (internal and FSA), market risk monitoring, financial control over the Treasury balance sheet accounts and project work as required.
You must be studying for a professional accounting qualification and have basic treasury accounting knowledge. You should ideally have IFRS knowledge, preferably within Financial Services.
