Job Description
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to work for a recognised company based in Reading town centre. This is a payroll job and you will be required to have a working knowledge of the full payroll function.
Main duties will involve: -
Dealing with all payroll queries
Input expenses/allowances/ commission claim payments ensuring authority for payment is present.
Assist with pay queries and arrears of pay.
Maintain/update weekly sickness and absence records.
Distribute annual leave lists to Managers on a monthly basis.
Assisting with the checking of reports to enable the smooth transition from the old payroll system to the new one.
Checking and inputting the data from various Inland Revenue forms
Assisting with the pension team, by calculating the final years earnings, which is preserved, in order to assess the pension payable to the employee concerned. Also tracking down the pensionable pay figures for employees who have left.
