Account Handler / Account Administrator (Insurance) to £22k, Bracknell

Client: Jardine Lloyd Thompson
Position: Group Risk Account Handler
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Salary: £16-22k + Private healthcare, supported study, life assurance, flexible benefits scheme, DC pension, 22 days holiday

Their group risk services are specially designed for organisations looking either to outsource in-house administration for the first time or to achieve a higher standard of administration where this service is already outsourced.

THE ROLE:
JLT now has an increased need for group risk professionals. They are seeking enthusiastic team players who are able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. These new and exciting roles are in the account handling division where you will work as part of an excellent team in ensuring the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient services to their clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) To maintain a commercial focus
b) To manage the renewal process
c) To manage and assist in the review process
d) To effectively undertake the administration requirements of clients and members
e) To actively monitor the performance of the insurers
f) To ensure that all clients are provided with a quality service reflecting the company's strategy.
g) To develop and maintain relationships with clients and Insurers
h) To make a positive contribution to the team

ESSENTIAL
a) A good understanding of Group Risk products - Life Assurance / Income Protection / Critical Illness etc
b) A minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C grades, or equivalent, including English and Maths
c) Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
d) Good time management skills
e) Ability to work well under pressure
f) Good Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
g) Good relationship building skills
h) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

DESIRABLE:
a) 2 years previous experience in a similar role
b) Studying or prepared to study for professional qualifications
c) A Levels

You may have experience of the following: Account Administrator, Group Risk Administrator, Insurance Underwriting Assistant, Insurance Administrator, General Administration, Risk Control Administrator, Insurance Underwriter, Life Assurance Administrator, Account Manager.
