Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit for an ambitious and talented Syndicate Accountant to join our client a progressive and forward thinking management agency, who are one the stronger performing Lloyds companies of the past 18months. The role offers fantastic opportunities for progression as our client plans to open a new non marine syndicate in the next 18months. The day to day duties include but are not limited to the preparation and review of the QMR and full Lloyd`s submission, the review and submission of the tax return as well as heavy involvement in controlling the sun ledger, setting up checks and reconciliations and processes to discover errors and where necessary implementing safeguards and measures to troubleshoot issues. You will also gain develop you staff management skills with you will have direct responsibility for four teams members setting up their timetables and reviewing performance etc. Candidates must have a proven track record from within the Lloyds market, and preferably hold a formal accountancy qualification i.e. (ACA ACCA). Candidates must also possess a sense of Gravitas and be highly articulate as there will be in high level of board and senior management interaction.
