Job Description
Excellent job opportunity for a Part Time Sales Ledger Clerk, to join an established and busy Accounts Team, in a profitable Brighton based Company. This Part Time Sales Ledger position has arisen due to the current growth of the Company, and is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Sales ledger clerk looking to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible working arrangement.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a Sales ledger and Credit Control, be numerate, a good communicator, and be able to work as part of a team. They will be IT literate with Excellent Excel skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Credit Control via Phone Calls primarily, also use of email and, only if appropriate, letter.
*Liaise with Operations Managers and/or Account Manager when necessary on clients with issues/problems
*Work with Department Manager to set up Direct Debit Mandates for clients and work on moving clients toward direct debit or credit card accounts wherever possible.
*Management of the CPA Online Client Database
* Sales Ledger
*Allocating receipts to BOSS & Daily CashFlow
*Checking Bank Account Daily for Receipts & reconciling to CashFlow
*PDQ Reconciliation to BOSS & Cash Flow
*Overseeing AX/Diners/Airplus etc Handoffs and reconciliation to BOSS
*Dealing with any Credit Card Charging queries from Credit Card Companies
*Management of Hold/Proforma Accounts, ie Groups Advance Payments.
* Customer Service
*First point of contact for clients with invoice queries
*Liaise with Ops, Account Management Team & Management Team where necessary.
