Job Description

European Investment bank is looking for a manager for its EMEA Fixed Income Emerging Markets BUC team, overseeing for P&L, Balance Sheet and valuation control in addition to partnering the business in new initiative/projects. This business is looking to expand into more EM markets, and is involved in the structuring, trading and distribution of multiple asset classes including Bonds, IR derivatives, FX, TRS, and CLNs.

You'll be responsible for supervising a team of 4 responsible for the EMEA Emerging Markets P&L Process. In addition to overseeing the daily P&L reporting and monthly close for the team, the supervisory role will also involve detailed analysis and understanding of the desk's products and systems in order to aid in the preparation of detailed commentaries on the trading performance of the desk, P&L Explain and in order to provide input into parameter/price testing and model/liquidity reserving in conjunction with the valuation group. Given the supervisory nature of the role in a more complex product area, you'll gain heavy exposure to senior members of the Front Office. You will also be a key contact for other areas of the bank such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, Quantitative Risk and Operations Outside of the day-to-day control responsibilities of the BUC team, the role will also provide opportunities for involvement in ad hoc projects such as new business reviews and new system implementations.

You'll be a qualified accountant with strong academics and significant experience within Interest Rate Derivatives Product Control at a major investment bank. Through your existing role you have built a strong technical understanding of interest rate products and the Front-to-Back trade cycles.
