Job Description
My client based in central Stockport are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger on a 6 month contract. Main responsibilities will include matching invoices to delivery notes, processing invoices onto SAP, preparation of invoices for scanning and payment, reconciliation of statements, resolving queries, improving accounts payable processes and procedures.
Previous purchase ledger experience is essential. SAP knowledge would be ideal but is not essential. The individual must be able to work well under pressure, must be flexible and organised. You must be highly customer focused and be willing to work as part of a busy team. Experience of high volume inputting would be an advantage.
My client is a reputable employer in the North West. They have offices based in central Stockport close to all transport links. They have a shared service centre. This role is for 6 months initially but could be extended. There is free parking on site for employees. My client offers clear progression paths for the right candidates.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
