Job Description
Bookkeeper required to work within a busy accounting office. As Bookkeeper you will be responsible for all sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and credit control. Including bank reconciliations, VAT returns, processing payroll, raising invoices, matching purchase invoices, allocating incoming payments, dealing with payment runs and dealing with any supplier or customer queries.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent communication skills. You will be highly IT literate and excel skills are preferred. You will also be familiar with the payroll legislation including SMP, SPP and SSP.
