Job Description

Payroll Clerk required. Main duties of this role are to - liaise and resolve problems with DHSS departments, tax office, human resources and employees; SSP/SMP administration; arrange advance payments by BACS/Telegraphic transfer; complete data input for new employees and leavers both hourly paid and salaried and you will need to resolve queries.
You will need to possess the following - High levels of motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative; excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to prioritise workload; excellent word processing and general secretarial skills; good knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases etc; you will be confidential; ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
