Job Description
An Experienced Payroller is required for my client in Preston. You will have complete responsibility for the weekly payroll of up to 2000 people. Dealing with all aspects of payroll including new starters / leavers, SSP / SMP and NI calculations. You will also be responsible for auditing payroll reports and making adjustments as and when needed and liaising with weekly paid staff to resolve queries.
You must have up to date knowledge of payroll processes and legislation along with the ability to perform manual calculations. Working in a team of 6 you must have excellent communication skills on all levels and possess a real can do attitude.
My client are a market leading service industry business, based in Preston and are currently looking to recruit an experienced payroll clerk to add to the existing team. They offer an excellent training program, a comfortable working environment and are known for being an employer that is keen to develop the career of their existing employees.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
