Job Description
The interim Assistant Accountant will be responsible for: preparing and submitting all required payroll journals for month end, reconciling and preparing the pension fund administration, ensuring that correct deductions are made through payroll for advances, verifying the bank deposit slips against total deposits, reconciling and controlling the operation of the client's bank accounts.
The Assistant Accountant is in charge of the day to day activities in regards to accounting. The successful candidate must ensure accurate and timely submission of information to the Financial Controller, controls and banks all of the client's money, ensures proper control for cash handling, and brings any discrepancies to the attention of the Financial Controller.
My client is a well known company within the leisure and tourism industry. The Ideal candidate will be flexible and hardworking and ideally of an outgoing nature. The candidate will ideally have worked within the leisure industry or in a related industry before.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
