Job Description

Working for a firm of accountants based in central Brighton (East Sussex), the role of Accounts Senior is to work with Directors of the firm with the preparation of accounts. The job holder will take the work at the review stage finalising the accounts for approval. Applicants must have experience of working for a firm of accountants and be comfortable with all aspects of accounts production as well as related tax work. This role is likely to start on a part time basis with the client completely flexible on the days worked, whether that be five mornings per week, five afternoons or full time for two/three full days. This role is also expected to turn full time in due course. There may be parking available but the office is on a main bus route from Hove and also a ten minute walk from Brighton train station. Accounting qualifications would be a bonus but experience gained from within a firm of chartered accountants is crucial.
