Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to work with one of the Leading Specialist Insurers on the Lloyds market? Then this could be the opportunity which you have been waiting for. Our Client is currently looking for a Syndicate Accountant to join its service driven team dedicated to both performance excellence and market development. The main duties of the role include developing and maintaining a strong financial control environment within the syndicate. Managing the quarterly reporting process for the Syndicate, ensuring the client data file is populated with accurate data within agreed timeframes, signing off the Lloyd`s returns in advance of board sign off meetings. Supporting the Syndicate planning process by challenging and reviewing the business plans with underwriters, having regard to historic performance, business development initiatives and market conditions. Our client requires candidates with a background in the Lloyds market whom are a minimum of part qualified or candidates from a practice background with Insurance based experience. As well as having a hard working attitude with a real attention to detail and a drive to meet and surpass targets.
