Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a leading multinational leisure company. This is an exciting company to join as they are rapidly expanding into various additional areas including construction, travel and direct sales. The role of Management Accountant entails complete responsibility for the recruitment of an accounts team, preparation of monthly accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts and day to day control of accounting within the resort. Main Role and Responsibilities: ? Production of monthly management accounts ? Monitoring and analysis of relevant KPI`s ? Reconciliation and control of monthly stocktaking ? Supervision of staff ? Preparation of statutory accounts ? Reconciliation of control accounts including, bank, payroll etc. ? Maintenance of fixed asset register ? Preparation and posting of journals ? Daily monitoring and reporting of bank balances ? Reconciliation of inter company transactions ? Analysis and control of daily hotel receipts ? Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly sales analysis reports ? Preparation and supervision of payroll ? Other ad hoc projects Key Skills Preferred: ? Ideally you may have a minimum of 5 years PQE at a supervisory / management level ? Previous role supervising staff, driving operational and system improvements ? Either fully qualified or with significant relevant industry experience ? Strong personality and character is essential ?
