Job Profile
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well established team at this national law firm based at the Newcastle office. You will be required to deal with all areas of commercial investment properties including sales and purchases of housing and mixed housing/commercial portfolios, acquisitions of sites for development of housing, mergers and acquisitions of housing associations and development of sites for commercial and residential projects. You will also deal with regeneration projects, management of existing commercial lease portfolios on behalf of public sector clients and you will work with corporate teams to provide support for corporate acquisitions of property companies. You will deal with a broad client range from large property companies both plc’s and private to the growing number of individuals and smaller investors choosing to invest in commercial property.

Applicant Requirements
Applications are invited from experienced Commercial Property Solicitors. Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of development work, property finance and corporate support matters. Experience of business development activities would be highly advantageous but not essential. You will possess thorough training gained within a City or regional firm and the desire and aptitude to undertake a wide range of challenging and varied work. You will be commercially aware and technically proficient, and ability to provide practical commercial solutions to a wide range of clients is essential for this role.
