Job Description

Our NHS organisation requires a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team for a temporary period of 3-6 months. Duties will include: overseeing the management accounts process, supervision of 2 x Management Accountants, consolidating the accounts to ensure the team has picked up on any significant variances, month end forecasting, trend analysis, discussions with heads of functions and advising/making decisions accordingly. NHS experience is essential for this post, along with a strong background in management accounting. Ideally the candidate will be qualified although 'qualified by experience' candidates will also be considered. It is hoped that the candidate will 'hit the ground running' and therefore NHS experience is key to this temporary role.

The organisation benefits in being based in modern offices located close to local shops and amenities, close to bus links and 10 minutes from mainline train station

- Strong management accounting experience required

- NHS experience essential - preferably from within an Acute Trust

- Successful candidate will ideally be CCAB qualified
