Job Description

A leading hedge fund in London is looking for an established Economist/Strategist to provide macro economic analysis across currencies and commodities with a concentration on US/Canadian/New Zealand and Australian markets therefore your experience should reflect that you have covered some of these markets previously. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Economist, with experience in the Sell/Buy-side of the industry and Central Banking. You must also possess strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of macroeconomics and the financial markets, having written extensively on international economic topics and currency market trends. You will be responsible for developing ideas for the traders in addition to contributing to publications and presenting to clients. This is the ideal opportunity to make the move into a challenging role where you will be given responsibility for the growth of this area.
