Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UKs most successful insurers. This position will involve making day to day decisions regarding the acceptance and rating of insurance risks within laid-down guidelines. Contributing to the profitability of the underwriting performance you will build successful relationships with brokers. This opportunity will cover both new and existing business, where you will work with commercial property, liability and combined insurance.
We require the selected applicant to have strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance. You will be multi skilled, having experienced a number of business lines. Your underwriting experience will ideally have allowed you to work up to a senior level with your current employer, acting as a technical referral point.
You must have excellent communication and customer service skills with a hands on approach to work.
