Job Description

 

The Corporate Broking team of this boutique investment bank is growing and requires a polished Corporate Broker to further develop their team.

 

 

The Client:

 

This award winning investment bank have consistently delivered beyond expectations for their listed clients and outperforming their competitors. The firm have built an excellent reputation on the back of an outstanding equity sales team, award winning research and some of the most experienced Corporate Financiers in the City. They are growing their Broking division to further augment their client services and to improve channels of communication between clients and their investors.

The Role:

Working closely with the Head of Corporate Broking, you will act as client liaison on all client matters. This means working closely with sales, research and corporate finance to ensure an efficient line of communication is delivered. Further, you will liaise with Institutional investors on all client matters and work in tandem with Investor Relations on everything from road shows to regulatory notices & market communications.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

  • Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational management and the ability to prioritise your responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the role played by sales, research and corporate finance.
  • The ability to mentor junior members of staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent client facing skills and the ability to deal with Board level counterparts.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and act on information rapidly.
  • Solid understanding of the Listing Rules and the processes related to IPO transactions, rights issues and secondaries.
  • Degree educated (2:1 or better)

The firm will strongly consider candidates who have worked within Equity Sales, Equity Capital Markets or Corporate Finance at Senior Associate level and are interested in moving across to a Broking role.
