Job Description

A leading multi billion dollar hedge fund in is launching a spin off commodities fund in London. The priority for this fund is to bring aboard a Senior Oil analyst/Strategist to head up the Oil and Natural Gas analysis for the fund. This fund will be completely focused on commodities and due to the infancy of the fund you will be given prime responsibility for launching and building this team. As the senior analyst you will be working with the traders being actively encouraged to be involved in the trade, executing your ideas and profiting directly from the P&L.

You MUST currently be an Oil/Natural gas analyst having extensive experience :-

-Developing leading indicator models for trading medium-term spreads

- producing trade recommendations based on leading indicator signals.

-Supervising development of Crude Valuation Tool designed to compare refining margins of regional and foreign crudes

- analyzing supply/demand and balance.

- lead analyst for Oil price forecasting.

- Quantitative analysis and projections of fundamental trends for crude oil, petroleum products and natural gas.

This fund has a strong capital escalation plan and have already secured the presence of two senior commodity traders from tier 1 investment banks.
