Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top ranked global investment bank which is planning to expand its teams in 2008. They are now looking to hire someone who will join the London/Frankfurt based sales teams which are two of the strongest platforms in the market. The teams sell derivatives and structured products across all asset classes to institutions in Germany and Austria as well as the German speaking part of Switzerland. They are looking for an individual with exceptional sales and communications skills who will join their fast growing teams and who will ideally specialize in selling listed products and derivatives including warrants and certificates to private banks, insurance companies and asset managers in Germany.
Key responsibilities:
- Selling equity derivatives to German speaking institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Understanding of client requirements, developing relationships with existing client base, monitoring market for spotting and approaching prospects
- Using the teams well established client base and expanding this clientele
Key skills required:
- Very good derivatives and structured products knowledge, ideally on equity derivatives and listed products
- Product knowledge will ideally include warrants and certificates
- A good understanding of the German, Austrian or Swiss institutional market (banks, insurers, and independent asset managers)
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Fluency in German and English
